Back from Sakuracon!
I was going to write about my trip as it was happening but after I missed what would be the first entry to this escapade, I was just too tired to go through with the whole idea I had…
Are there any movies I’m excited about coming out this year?
Heck yeah.
Besides that, I have two new fractels and one new png featuring Maka of Soul Eater. Also I added links to all of the places you can find me on the web just to the left under “Network”. There’s my art site (thePerilous.com) where the bulk of my artwork is located, my deviantart (Naehan) where I spend most of my time, my Sheezyart (Halkyon) where I have a lot of my old artwork but its inconvenient to navigate that far back…, My MangaBullet (also Halkyon) where I spend little time and have only my most recent art, My Twitter (rivchan) which I read nearly every waking moment but almost never use myself unless its late and I’m reading crappy shoujo, and my Youtube (also rivchan) where I post video of me drawing sometimes, I also want to post coloring tutorials someday but… w/e… I don’t feel like I’m a good enough colorist right now…
I’ve been hard at work on my cosplay for all of my spring break… I’m almost done too!^^ I’m going to Sakuracon as Madam Red, from Kuroshitsuji, her party dress, and Ema SKye from the Ace Attorney series, her 18 year old self. My friend Raye is going as Grell from Kuroshitsuji and Klavier Gavin from the Ace Attorney series, and I just (literally) got a call from my friend Mad-am that she is going to try to make the dress for Franziska VonKarma if we still have the whip and wig for the outfit, I think she said at Kumoricon that she was also going to dress as Cierra from Orange Crows, a costume I tricked her into wanting by shoving the book in front of her and then talking loudly about cosplay to Raye… just a few pages in she turned to me and said “can I cosplay her?” and Raye and I just started laughing since we both knew my plan!^^
I think I’ve finished updating this layout, but we’ll see… if you find something off please let me know.
Also besides making a new layout I’ve also added three avatars. It feels weird not having a bunch of graphics that I keep around just in case I have to update and don’t have anything to put out, since I used all my backlog to update when I had nothing to update, now it just looks like I have nothing to update. Hopefully I can get a bunch of graphics done soon.
I have a bunch of stuff to work on that is not related to this site, like a picture for a webcomic, that I need to have done Monday and haven’t started… and I need to have two cosplays finished by the first Thursday of April and I’ve hardly started either… tho they for the most part are just re-makes of ones I’ve already done so there won’t be that much to work on… Yeah…. Sakuracon…. we don’t get along well with getting cosplays done on time… I also should be working on comics but that never happens… plus actual school. Finals are next week, I’m pretty confident tho.. so….
Anyway, hope people are having a good day…
